Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes
Fitted wardrobes earn their place by using the parts of a bedroom that free-standing furniture cannot: the run beside a chimney breast, the space under a sloping ceiling, the full height up to a cornice.
We design the interior around what you actually own — hanging lengths, drawer depths, shoe storage, folded shelving — then build and install the furniture so it reads as part of the architecture rather than an addition to it.

How the project runs

Consultation
We visit the space or meet at the workshop, talk through how the room needs to work, and agree a realistic budget before any drawings are issued.

Design
Measured drawings show exactly what is being built: cabinet sizes, storage layout, sightlines and how the furniture meets the building.

Materials & Finishes
Timbers, paint colours, worktops and ironmongery are sampled and agreed, so nothing is decided from a photograph alone.

Manufacture
Everything is built in our Derbyshire workshop by the people who will install it, which keeps the detailing and the quality consistent.

Installation
We fit, scribe and adjust on site, protect the rest of the house while we work, and walk the finished furniture through with you.

Fitted Wardrobes — common questions
- Will the wardrobes fit a sloping or uneven ceiling?
- Yes. Angled and stepped runs are one of the main reasons to have furniture built rather than bought, and everything is scribed to the room on installation.
- Can you match existing joinery in the house?
- We can take reference from existing doors, skirtings and mouldings elsewhere in the house so new wardrobes reads as original to the property, rather than as an obvious modern addition. Profiles, panel proportions and finish are matched during design, and where a period detail cannot be replicated exactly, we discuss the nearest practical alternative with you before manufacture begins.
