Working from a Derbyshire workshop, we build each interior to match the layout agreed on the drawing rather than adapting a stock design once it reaches site. That starts with an honest count of what needs storing: long hanging for coats and dresses, double hanging for shirts, jackets and folded trousers, and drawer runs for the folded items that hanging space cannot hold well. Getting the balance wrong between these zones is the most common reason a new wardrobe feels tight within a year, even where the exterior looked generous.

Extensions and renovations across the city often bring a bedroom refresh into scope alongside kitchen or dining work elsewhere in the house, and a wardrobe replaced as part of that wider project benefits from the same design attention as the rooms it sits beside. The interior layout is agreed against the finished room dimensions, since a widened doorway or repositioned stud wall can change the usable wardrobe width from what existed before the works began.

Home studies carved from a spare bedroom sometimes retain a wardrobe that now needs to serve double duty, holding files or seasonal items alongside any remaining clothing.
