When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, the type of project, your indicative budget and timescale, the details you write in the message field, and any images or documents you choose to attach.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a design proposal and quotation, and manage the project if you go ahead. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Legal basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers, and, where a project proceeds, on the basis of performing our contract with you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to completed projects are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, aftercare and accounting purposes.

Where it is stored

Enquiries and uploaded files are stored securely in our website's hosted database and file storage, accessible only to Chester Thomas staff. Files you upload are held in private storage and are not publicly accessible.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@chesterthomas.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
