Bespoke Wine Rooms & Cellars
Wine storage has to be right on two counts: the bottles need stable conditions, and the room needs to look like part of the house rather than a piece of equipment.
We design racking to the bottle formats you keep, coordinate glazing and climate control with the relevant specialists, and detail the joinery so the collection is the thing you notice.

How the project runs

Consultation
We visit the space or meet at the workshop, talk through how the room needs to work, and agree a realistic budget before any drawings are issued.

Design
Measured drawings show exactly what is being built: cabinet sizes, storage layout, sightlines and how the furniture meets the building.

Materials & Finishes
Timbers, paint colours, worktops and ironmongery are sampled and agreed, so nothing is decided from a photograph alone.

Manufacture
Everything is built in our Derbyshire workshop by the people who will install it, which keeps the detailing and the quality consistent.

Installation
We fit, scribe and adjust on site, protect the rest of the house while we work, and walk the finished furniture through with you.

Wine Rooms & Cellars — common questions
- Do we need a cellar for a wine room?
- A cellar is not required. Glazed wine walls and wine rooms work well on ground and upper floors, provided the space is properly insulated and a suitable cooling system is planned from the outset. We coordinate with climate control specialists during design so temperature and humidity are controlled correctly, whatever level of the house the room sits on.
- Do you supply the cooling equipment?
- We do not supply cooling equipment ourselves, but we coordinate closely with climate control specialists during design so the joinery is built around the chosen system from the outset. Positions for units, ducting and access panels are agreed before manufacture, so the finished wine room looks considered rather than having equipment added as an afterthought.
