Whether the unit is wall-mounted and appears to float clear of the floor, or stands as a freestanding piece with drawers and shelving, it is finished to match or deliberately complement existing cabinetry in the room. The unit is built in our Derbyshire workshop and installed by the same team who designed it.

- Handles and hinges are available in a range of finishes, including brushed brass and matt black, chosen to suit the unit's overall design. We can bring a sample door to a design meeting so you can try the action before committing to it across the whole piece.
Installation
- How is the television's cabling managed?
- Cable routes are built into the carcass from equipment storage through to the television, including a route up to a wall-mounted screen where relevant, so nothing is left trailing once installed.
- How long does installation take?
- Installation timescales depend on the size and complexity of the unit, and whether it is wall-mounted or freestanding, and we agree an estimated timeframe before manufacture.
- Will you relocate a socket for a wall-mounted television?
- Socket relocation can be planned and coordinated with a qualified electrician ahead of installation, so the unit and cable route are designed around the confirmed position.
Practical questions
- Can the unit house a soundbar?
- A shelf or recess for a soundbar can be included in the design, positioned to sit comfortably beneath the television. Knowing the make and model in advance lets us size the recess and any cutouts precisely, rather than leaving generous tolerance that looks like an afterthought.
- How much storage will the unit provide?
- Storage capacity depends on the unit's overall dimensions and the balance of drawers, shelving and enclosed cabinetry agreed at design stage, based on your media and equipment.
- Can shelving be included alongside the TV unit?
- Open or closed shelving can be added either side of the unit, designed to the same datum lines so the piece reads as a single composition.

- We produce drawings so you can see the proposed size, storage layout and finish before manufacture begins. Nothing is manufactured until you have approved these in writing, so you always know exactly what has been agreed before work begins in the workshop.
